Can you provide some more details on how to do "Story Point Estimation"? How do you map to the hours?

Does this mean every project need to map Story Points to 12 hour or e.g. 8hrs as minimum and as you increase story points estimates, so the hours gets doubled?

e.g.

Map Story point for each user stories.
1 SP = 12 Hours
2 SP = 24 Hours

and so on. How it is different then earlier estimation model?

On a separate note, where we can find active forums? I could not find ACP active forum people discussing questions or doubts / study plan?
